@lssm-tech/lib.self-improving-system-runtime

Pure runtime primitives for governed self-improvement: canonical fingerprints, automation policy, exact execution-envelope compilation, provider-free ports, and lifecycle replay. The package composes immutable references to existing authority systems and performs no I/O or effect execution.

Lifecycle replay fingerprints the complete receipt material, including actor, time, source state, and schema version. Duplicate identifiers, invalid or reordered transitions, non-monotonic timestamps, and digest tampering fail closed. Approval artifacts bind an independent approver and signature reference to the exact program revision, candidate, and G01-G25 gate bundle. The headless module must authenticate that signature through its approval-verifier port and bind the immutable verification receipt into the execution envelope.

SelfImprovementLifecycleStorePortV1 extends the original candidate write port with current-state and ordered-receipt reads. This additive surface lets a headless orchestrator fence phase effects against the exact persisted digest and transition sequence, then verify the durable chain with exact replay. Existing SelfImprovementCandidateStorePort implementations remain source-compatible.

The additive SelfImprovementProgramQueryStorePortV1, SelfImprovementCandidateQueryStorePortV1, and SelfImprovementSignalQueryStorePortV1 surfaces expose bounded, scoped reads for generated API, MCP, SDK, CLI, and operator hosts. Candidate reads return the current durable status while preserving the immutable candidate fingerprint.

Published imports resolve built Bun/Node JavaScript and declaration files on every public subpath. Workspace source mappings remain unchanged. Clean consumers do not require this repository's TypeScript source tree.

Contracts

@lssm-tech/lib.self-improving-system-runtime/contracts and ./contracts/<leaf> (constants, events, operations, registry, transport, types, validation) own the canonical self-improving-system operation/event definitions, transport descriptors and validators. Legacy @lssm-tech/lib.contracts-spec/self-improving-system imports forward to the same instances; keys, versions and wire shapes are unchanged.
