@lssm-tech/lib.finance-ops-spec

Provider-neutral internal finance operations contracts beyond BillingOS quote-to-cash.

This package closes the first canonical ContractSpec slice for internal finance operations. It defines reviewable contracts and handoff packets; it does not execute provider actions or provide financial advice.

Scope

Use this package to model:

  • budgets, spend policies, and financial commitments;
  • procurement requests and vendor compliance review;
  • expenses and reimbursement handoffs;
  • payroll, tax, and compliance handoffs;
  • cashflow/runway policies, non-advisory runway hints, and accounting export review gates;
  • CompanyOS authority, assurance evidence, and approval gates.

Boundary

BillingOS owns quote-to-cash artifacts such as quotes, orders, invoices, payments, refunds, write-offs, accounting exports, and reconciliation. Finance ops may reference those artifacts for cashflow/runway and review context but must not redefine or execute them. This package also avoids bank, accounting, payroll, and tax provider execution.

FinanceOS semantic surface

The additive finance-os entrypoint models holdings, legal entities, companies, tenants, ledgers, consolidation, chart and account references, planning scenarios, treasury, obligations, FX, unit economics, allocations, close and reconciliation. Stable references bind canonical LSSM goals and economic evidence without importing goal, billing, provider, or runtime packages.

Unknown or stale hard budgets fail closed to review. Intercompany transfers, shared-service allocation, ledger posting, and close effects remain governed handoffs with segregation-of-duties and ContractSpec Connect authorization references. Secrets and direct PII are prohibited; evidence must be redacted or tokenized.
