Source snapshot bcc79fcc · Declared package version 2.0.5. This page combines the checked-in package guide and manifest; commands and runtime behavior were not executed in this review.
This package owns the canonical Twilio SMS channel adapter for CommunicationOS. It supports signature-verified inbound form webhooks, provider-backed outbound delivery, normalized ecosystem events and receipts, and explicit provider-retention behavior.
The adapter uses an explicit Node-compatible build profile, including Bun server hosts. Its credential and webhook boundary does not advertise a browser export condition. Existing package entry points and provider contracts remain unchanged.
Ecosystem composition
Use createTwilioSmsEcosystemAdapter from
@lssm-tech/integration.communication-channel-sms/ecosystem-adapter when composing the current CommunicationOS ecosystem port. The adapter requires an injected SmsProvider, an E.164 sender number, and the Twilio auth token used to verify inbound signatures.
Managed connections store only an opaque credential reference. The resolved secret document is expected to contain:
The managed API accepts only application/x-www-form-urlencoded payloads with an X-Twilio-Signature that verifies against the exact callback URL. The managed worker rejects other providers or incomplete credential material.
Local conformance is not live provider qualification. Production activation still requires consent and opt-out enforcement, credentialed callback/send tests, delivery-status reconciliation, and an accepted Runtime Node effect path.
These are package-manifest entry points. Named symbols listed above come from the capability catalogue; this is not an exhaustive TypeScript symbol reference.
