Live proof also requires a bounded,\n  raw-request-free session authority created by the exact prepared generation\n  result.\n- Live UI evidence is a bounded projection of the actual Harness receipt.\n  Screenshot evidence is a capped inspectable data URL; assertion expected and\n  actual values, verdict, mutation status, artifact IDs, and timestamps are not\n  recalculated in the browser.\n- Outcome Pack approval and proof approval are separate. Every result is\nlabeled as `live-ai`, `prepared-profile`, `live-browser`,\n`validated-recording`, or `prepared-simulation`; failed and blocked verdicts\nremain distinct from verified results.\n\nThe legacy `DemoSurfaceMode` type and named Call/Expert stage exports remain\navailable for compatibility but are deprecated. The primary preview, safe\nsession export, and presentation telemetry identify the surface as `adaptive`.\n\n### Presenter paths\n\nAudience mode is the default. It has no presenter entry button, failure\nselector, internal diagnostics, or safe-export control. A host must explicitly\nset `presenterEnabled` to expose framing, recorded/live/auto selection,\npreflight, deliberate failure scenarios, reset, explicit fallback, and safe\nlocal export. This does not restore a Call/Expert surface split. The host\nuses the repository AI-provider abstraction, supplies no tools, validates the\nstructured result, enforces a bounded cancellable timeout, and returns only an\nanalysis-only pack. It cannot attach the prepared scenario or create proof\nauthority.\n\nThe UI retains the operator's pasted request locally if the provider is absent,\nmalformed, unavailable, or times out. The failure is stable and the prepared\nexample is an explicit alternative, never a silent substitution. Synthetic negative presets\nare labeled `prepared-simulation`; only the committed successful capture is\n`validated-recording`.\n\n## Deliberate failures\n\n- Wrong administrator, missing onboarding project, disabled weekly reporting,\n  missing selectors, or a nonzero external-send counter produce `failed`.\n- Denied/missing approval, unsupported capabilities, non-loopback targets, or\n  redirect escape produce `blocked` before the proof mutation.\n- Failed and blocked receipts retain reason codes and the evidence that is safe\n  and truthful for their execution stage; neither projects passed acceptance\n  evidence.\n\nHosts may inject a result-returning `DemoRuntime`. Deprecated generation and\nrun callbacks remain observers only; callback return values never control\nprogression. `DemoRuntimeResult.data` is authoritative for rendered proof\nevidence; selected recording presets cannot replace a live-browser result.\nWithout a host runtime, the browser-safe prepared runtime provides deterministic\nanalysis, explicit live-unavailable fallback, validated recording, preflight,\nand reset behavior.\n\n## Supported call configurations\n\n### Reliable recorded call\n\n- Use the public or hosted preview.\n- Run `recording:verify` before the call.\n- Select or explicitly accept the `validated-recording` path.\n- Do not claim a live browser dependency or live execution.\n\n### Local live call\n\n- Run the local `web-landing` host with\n  `CONTRACTSPEC_COMPANYOS_LIVE_BROWSER=1`.\n- Install Chromium and require a fresh `ready-live` preflight.\n- Use the injected same-origin API client, real loopback fixture, and\n  `live-browser` receipt.\n- If live execution fails, keep that failure visible and load the validated\n  recording only after explicit acceptance.\n\n## Deliberate limitations\n\nThis POC supports one allowlisted profile, one prepared executable scenario, one\nloopback fixture, and one committed successful recording. It does not crawl,\nindex, generate arbitrary Playwright actions, target production systems, store\ncustomer requests, establish customer acceptance, or prove ROI or other\nbusiness impact.
